Broadgate is a 32-acre campus located between the City of London and Shoreditch and Old Street. It’s the largest pedestrianised neighbourhood in central London and is home to many of the world's leading financial, legal, technology and media companies, as well as some great food, drink, retail and entertainment venues.
William Russell, The Lord Mayor of the City of London recently visited the 20,000 square feet New Diorama Theatre rehearsal complex at Broadgate, to see how works are progressing.
Four public squares provide an area of outside space which is unique in the City, providing the 30,000 people who work there and the 19 million who visit annually, with a wonderful place to visit.
Our work comprises dilapidations on one of these squares, Exchange Square, and Director Stuart Birrell is heading this project up.
Designed by architects DSDHA, the reimagined Exchange Park will quadruple the amount of green space at Broadgate, making it one of central London’s largest public spaces, which makes it the perfect location for Broadgate’s events. The 1.5-acre park will feature a mix of planting and trees, a stream, amphitheatre seating as well as new retail and event spaces.
